Brooklyn Nets center Andray Blatche injured his hip in the first half of the team’s 120-95 loss Friday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, leaving his status for the team’s game Saturday against the Indiana Pacers in serious doubt.

Blatche returned in the second half after riding a stationary bike, even hitting a three-pointer. But he played with a noticeable limp and was quickly removed.

“Try to get it loosened, but it just wouldn’t work out for me,” Blatche said about his time on the court.

He continued to limp around in the locker room after the game, but said he’d travel with the team in the hopes of playing Saturday. “It’s swelled up right now, it’s just a little sore. Hopefully it’s nothing serious, and something I can get treatment on and be ready to play tomorrow.”

Blatche added he would not need an MRI on the bruise.
