The Brooklyn Nets have hired the Philadelphia 76ers’ Assistant Coach Will Weaver to join Kenny Atkinson’s coaching staff, as reported by Keith Pompey.

Weaver will come to Brooklyn after working under Brett Brown in Philadelphia for two years. In his time there, he specialized in analytics used to improve player performance.

The offseason has hardly started and the Nets have already made significant changes to the coaching staff. Weaver now officially joins Jacque Vaughan, Jordan Ott, Adam Harrington, and Chris Fleming on Atkinson’s revamped bench.
