Report: Mason Plumlee to compete in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest

Brooklyn Nets center Mason Plumlee will compete in the 2015 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, according to a report from Yahoo! Sports.

The 24-year-old Plumlee has emerged as the team’s starting center over the injury-ridden Brook Lopez this season, and has put down more dunks than the entire Brooklyn Nets team combined.

The Dunk Contest will be hosted at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, as a part of New York’s All-Star Weekend. The weekend’s festivities will be held in Barclays Center, while the actual All-Star Game goes to Madison Square Garden.
