Game Info: The Utah Jazz (13-12) take on the Brooklyn Nets (13-10) tonight at 7:30 P.M. EST, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The game will be televised on YES Network. Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkel have the call on YES. WFAN has the radio call, WADO has the Spanish radio call.

Starting Lineups:
Brooklyn Nets: Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, Brook Lopez
Utah Jazz: Mo Williams, Randy Foye, Marvin Williams, Paul Millsap, Al Jefferson

OUT: Jerry Stackhouse and Josh Childress are inactive for the Nets. Raja Bell is out for the Jazz.

Key to the Game: staying out of foul trouble. The biggest difference between the Jazz's wins and losses isn't how they shoot from the field -- it's how they get to the line. In Utah's 13 wins, the team averages 29.7 free throw attempts on 23.4 fouls drawn per game. In their 12 losses, they average just 19 free throw attempts on 17.4 fouls drawn per game.

This is a very good sign for Brooklyn; the Nets rank 13th in the league in opponent free throw rate at .267, and their five-man starting lineup is even better -- their opponent free throw rate is just a paltry .203, a number that would rank by far the best in the league. If the Nets can stay out of foul trouble, keeping their starters on the floor, they've got an excellent shot at winning tonight.

  1. Anyone want to set an over/under for D-Will’s points/assists tonight ?

  2. I love that against the zone. Spot up Joe who has always shot spot up threes well.

  3. Good hustle for the rebound Hump but your offensive game is absolutely terrible.

  4. How about that from Brook? How many centers in the league can take it from the perimeter, to the hoop.

Hey Devin, I haven’t seen a “BLOOD EVERYWHERE” Shawne Williams tweet in a while. Hopefully you didn’t forget…

    1. avatar Devin Kharpertian says:

Shawne just got busted on drug charges. Doesn’t feel right

      1. avatar bronxbombers2 says:

Ah right, I hear ya. Good call.

  6. How about a Microwave that you can tweet from? Bet the little general would love that!

  7. Marshon Brooks gets so much undeserved crap about his defense. His defense isn’t significantly worse than Humps and Hump gets minutes.

Marshon on the floor means good things happening on offense.

  8. At the half: Marshon +14 in 9 minutes. Bogans -7 in 7 minutes. #freemarshon

    1. avatar Max Weisberg says:

Marshon played some excellent defense for once. Bogans needs to go from the rotation. I want to see more TT.

  9. avatar Max Weisberg says:

I would be shocked if the Jazz did not take the lead at some point in this 2nd half.

  10. avatar BennyNadeau says:

Way to end the half, I’m feeling a let down, but can we skip that tonight please?

  11. Wel that was frustrating and predictable at the same time

  12. avatar dar says:

    hey there

  13. avatar Max Weisberg says:

What do ya know? We got destroyed in the 2nd half against inferior competition!

    GO NETS!

    (I can’t take this anymore)
