Some Nets news & notes from around the web:
- First, a light note: Courtney Kirkland AKA #SkyKirkland is a #4 seed in the official and GREAT SB Nation GIF Tournament hosted by Jon Bois. GO VOTE!
- Stefan Bondy at the New York Daily News contends that it was never an issue of talent with Andray Blatche -- it was, and is, the stupidity.
- Blatche, incidentally, is not worried at all about the ongoing investigation about an alleged sexual assault that occurred in his hotel suite.
- Kris Humphries feels he is being misrepresented in the media: "He's focused on basketball and that's it."
- Mirza: Revisited.
- Rod Boone at Newsday notices a looser Deron Williams: "He's attacking the basket effectively, either finishing or finding his teammate. He's back to having fun, even in tense moments -- like in the closing minutes of last week's big win in Oklahoma City, when Keith Bogans badly missed a shot, and the two shared a chuckle as they walked to the bench."
- Barclays Center unveiled a 70-foot mural visible from the arena's Dean Street entrance, designed by Fort Greene resident José Parlá.

I feel like the Kardashian’s influence on stories is all over this. These unnamed sources say Hump’s bragging. Believe me if he’s bragging or even has said a word about the Kardashians someone would take a check for a quote at least or interview. It’s such bad journalism and sleezy tabloid bs. The divorce is dragging out because they don’t agree on how to dissolve it. That’s it.

Well Kris, I wish I could say you were focused on “just basketball.”
