Saturday’s Nets win over the Magic was a night for the boys. The birthday boys.
29-year-old Brook Lopez put up 30 points and 27-year-old Justin Hamilton put up 13 points to guide Brooklyn to a 121-111 victory over Orlando.
From the way the team started, it didn’t look like a win was in the cards. But Brooklyn followed up a 1-8 start from the field with making nine of its next 12 shots to tie the game at 33 after the first quarter.
Coming off the bench, Trevor Booker brought the heat. He put up a season-high 23 points in 24 minutes, going 11-12 from the field and adding 8 rebounds on the night.
Booker led the charge of Brooklyn’s bench, which posted a 72-16 advantage on the game.
Also scoring a season-high 72 points in the paint, the Nets went on an 11-0 run to start the fourth quarter after being tied at 89 after three. From there, the team didn’t look back and outscored the Magic 32-22 in the quarter.
The win is Brooklyn’s third in its last four home games. The team is also 9-1 on the season when it scores 120+ points.
Brooklyn is rallying to be undefeated in April.

He’s pretty fun to watch when he makes plays like this, too.
