It appears the “curse of leg-and-below injuries” that plagued the Nets in their last season in New Jersey has decided to linger. MarShon Brooks sprained his left ankle during the team’s morning shootaround in Orlando and is a game-time decision for tonight’s Orlando Magic game, according to the team.

Brooks is the third Nets player and third wing player to suffer a sprained ankle, after Gerald Wallace and Josh Childress. This is his second ankle-and-below injury of the year; Brooks suffered right foot tendinitis earlier in the preseason, necessitating a walking boot.
