Nets have reached agreement to bring 2012 draft pick Bojan Bogdanovic to the NBA this season, league source tells Y! Sports.

The man, the myth, the legend. We’ve been hearing for the last two seasons about the Croatian Eurostash G/F Bojan Bogdanovic, and this season, we will finally see him in action. According to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, Bogdanovic will play for the Brooklyn Nets this season.
It’s unknown if this will end the Nets’ pursuit of a backup scorer, as they previously targeted Kyle Korver (who re-upped in Atlanta) and Marco Belinelli (who signed in San Antonio).
In 21 games, Bogdanovic averaged 15.9 points on 48.9% shooting in 28.3 minutes per game for Fenerbahçe last season.
The terms of the contract are currently unknown.

Update (9:25 pm):
Woj states he’ll be the immediate back-up to Paul Pierce, though that is likely just speculation.
Bogdanovic, a Croatian small forward, was the 31st pick in 2011 draft — not 2012. He'll be the back-up to Paul Pierce with the Nets.

Tim Bontemps reports that just some of the mini-mid level was used.
Nets used part of their mini-mid level exception to sign Bogdanovic, not all of it. Not sure how much they have left to use.

Using only some of it will at least save the Nets luxury tax dollars, and could give them added flexibility to sign additional free agents.

Other tidbits…
Bogdanovic will get a 3-year deal, starting at about $2.4 mil, using part of the mini-midlevel exception.

Nets spent roughly 2.5 million of the mini mid-level to bring over Bogdanovic, per source. Saves Nets roughly $3 mil in luxury tax payments.

Source says deal came together in the last couple days. It's a three-deal for less than the full min-mid level exception #Nets

Nets had long planned to bring Bogdanovich over for next season. Changed gears to chase Korver. Lost Korver, turned back to Bogdanovich.
