As expected, Brooklyn Nets head coach Jason Kidd ruled out guards Deron Williams and Jason Terry, as well as forward Tornike Shengelia, from tonight’s 7 P.M. preseason game against the Washington Wizards.
Kidd didn’t name a starter to replace Williams yet, but presumably backup guard Shaun Livingston will take his place in the starting lineup. Starting the 6’7″ Livingston would make for an incredibly tall lineup, as he and Pierce would be the shortest members of the team’s five-man unit.
The Nets originally said that Gary Forbes would be ruled out for tonight as well, but he was not listed by Kidd as out, according to reporters.
