Who’s in and who’s out after the Nets, Celtics trade

Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett

Lots of conflicting rumors today about the Brooklyn Nets trade with the Boston Celtics, so here’s a quick rundown of who’s going where in the trade, and what the Nets still have to figure out:

Going from Brooklyn to Boston:

  • Kris Humphries
  • Gerald Wallace
  • MarShon Brooks
  • Keith Bogans
  • Kris Joseph
  • 2014 first-round draft pick (some unknown protections)
  • 2016 first-round draft pick (unprotected)
  • 2018 first-round draft pick (unprotected)
  • The right to swap first-round draft picks in 2017. (I.E. if the Nets have a better pick than the Celtics in 2017, the Celtics can switch picks with the Nets and take the better pick.)

    Going from Boston to Brooklyn:

  • Kevin Garnett
  • Paul Pierce
  • Jason Terry

Staying in Brooklyn: Reggie Evans and Tornike Shengelia, who were each rumored to be a part of the trade package at various points.

    Potential Nets on the move:

  • C.J. Watson (player option, expected to opt out of contract)
  • Andray Blatche (unrestricted free agent with unique and confusing contract situation)
  • Jerry Stackhouse (expected to retire)
  • Bojan Bogdanovic (overseas stash, may be signed this offseason)
