Brooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Garnett is considered the ultimate teammate and mentor to young players, but everyone’s got to start somewhere. When Garnett was a 19-year-old rookie, he says then-Timberwolves forward Sam Mitchell took him under his wing and taught him how to be an NBA player.
