The Nets and Kings have reportedly agreed to a trade that would send Reggie Evans and Jason Terry westward for struggling Sacramento Kings guard Marcus Thornton. The 26-year-old Thornton has struggled in 2014, but his career-low numbers are out of proportion with his career averages.
Also out of proportion with his career averages: hanging 36 points on the Miami Heat last season. So let’s think about that proportion instead.
