In the second quarter of Game 4 of the first-round matchup between the Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets, 5’7″ Bulls guard Nate Robinson and 6′ Nets guard C.J. Watson — who have been very clear in their dislike for one another — got into a bit of a scrum after Robinson grabbed Watson and threw him into the scorer’s table.
Watson may have pushed an elbow at the beginning of their scrum, but it was hardly enough contact to warrant Robinson attacking him. The players each received a technical foul because double technicals are the easiest thing for a referee to levy on players after a scrum, and are stupid.
