There’s no doubt that Alan Anderson is a fighter: it’s in his MSU Spartan blood. Unfortunately for Anderson, his tenacity got the best of him early in the first quarter when he fought for an offensive rebound. Not only did Anderson end up in the sixth row after trying to snare a rebound, but he also managed to get hit in the face by the basketball. Twice.
The ball hit the Nets guard in the face with the ball on his first attempt to secure the offensive rebound, and then got nailed in the back of the head on his way back to the court.
We appreciate the effort, Alan.
