Looks like the Raptors are pretty fired up — maybe a little too fired up. Addressing fans before Game 1 of their first-round series against the Nets, Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri had a mic-dropping moment to end his speech, saying “F— BROOKLYN!” to huge cheers. Watch below:
When asked about the comments after the game, Nets head coach Jason Kidd said they wouldn’t act as motivation for his team, adding: “I don’t know who the (Raptors) GM is.”
“I could care less what they think about Brooklyn,” Kidd later added. “We got a job to do and that’s play basketball.”
Ujiri issued a statement at halftime apologizing, but with a little addition: “I don’t like them.”
Masai: "I apologize. But you you guys know how I feel. I don't like them."

Update: Ujiri was fined $25,000 for the comment.
Here's #Raptors Amir Johnson on GM Masai Ujiri not #Nets BFF: "We have his back. I’m with him 100% so if he said ‘f ‘em,’ I say ‘f ‘em’"
