After James Dolan hired Thomas in 2003, he acquired unproductive players on huge contracts, traded away nearly every draft pick the Knicks owned, dragged the Knicks through a humiliating sexual harassment trial, and more. Even with all the hatred from Knicks fans, Dolan still managed to extend Isaiah’s contract for 4 years and $24 million. The team never had a winning season with Thomas at the helm.
