The Brooklyn Nets have ruled Sergey Karasev out for Wednesday night’s game against the Toronto Raptors with a “strained left oblique.”
Kevin Garnett will also sit out for rest on the second half of a back-to-back.
Karasev, who has started the team’s last four games, was wearing kinesthetic tape on the area after the game, and said he hurt his side in the first quarter but tried to play through it.
It’s not clear who will start in their stead, but Karasev originally replaced Bojan Bogdanovic in the lineup, and Bogdanovic hit a big three-pointer late in the fourth quarter in the team’s loss to the Miami Heat Tuesday night.
