Little-used Nets wing Sergey Karasev suffered what appeared to be a serious right knee injury in the mdidle of the fourth quarter against the New Orleans Pelicans Tuesday night. After his right knee buckled unnaturally on a screen from Pelicans center Alexis Ajinca, Karasev lay on the court for several minutes in severe pain. He was carried off the court into the locker room soon after. Warning: the video is not for the squeamish.
The team officially reported a sprained right knee, with further tests to come Wednesday.
