Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has many talents: defending NBA wing players, endearing himself to his fellow rookies, and even hitting a mid-range jumper or two. But one thing he’s not so sure about: science fiction movies.
During the Nets’ Star Wars Night, various Nets players were asked who their favorite characters from Star Wars were. Though many answered, Hollis-Jefferson had one answer that, uh, was a bit surprising.

As you may have surmised, E.T. is a character in “E.T.,” not a Star Wars character. But wait! E.T. actually was in Star Wars, as a member of the Galactic Senate. So maybe he’s just a REALLY big fan.

But let’s just say it’s pretty clear that Hollis-Jefferson didn’t know that. Either way, Brook Lopez has some explaining to do.
