Most Brooklyn Nets past and present are persona non grata in the offseason. Not Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who’s been anywhere and everywhere after the Nets acquired him in a draft-day trade. Most recently, Hollis-Jefferson showed Sports Illustrated how to do his patented free throw shimmy, which was inspired by his future Brooklyn Nets teammate Kevin Durant.
Hollis-Jefferson doesn’t have a reliable outside shot, hitting just 20.6 percent of his college three-pointers this past year. A noticeable hitch is to blame, but that hitch is less pronounced on his shimmified free throws:
Hey, maybe he can find a way to incorporate the Shimmy into his jumper.
