The Brooklyn Nets will meet with top coaching candidate Lionel Hollins sometime within the next 48 hours to discuss their vacant head coaching position, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Hollins most recently coached the Memphis Grizzlies to a 56-26 record in 2012-13, and made the playoffs with the Grizzlies in each of his last three seasons with the franchise. He increased their winning percentage in each full season he spent with the team.
Hollins did not coach anywhere last season, and made $2.3 million in the final year of his contract with the Grizzlies.
