Sergio Rodriguez could be on his way back to the NBA this summer and it may just be with the Brooklyn Nets, reports David Pick of Basketball Insiders.

Rodriguez, an experienced point guard currently playing with Real Madrid in Spain, played in the NBA for four seasons from 2006-2010. The Spanish international has been hailed for his ability to run an offense and creates a three-headed monster with Ricky Rubio and Jose Calderon on the national level.
In his final season in the NBA, Rodriguez averaged 6.6 points and 3.2 assists for the Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks over 15.9 minutes per game. Pick reported last month that the veteran was “mulling” over an NBA return after spending five seasons with Real Madrid.
Rodriguez turned 30 on June 12th and could be a valuable resource if the Nets decide to hand the point guard duties to Caris LeVert or Isaiah Whitehead as the season progresses.
