Fifteen hours after the Brooklyn Nets were blown out by the Minnesota Timberwolves, Nets power forward Reggie Evans was back in his hometown of Pensacola, FL, to spread a little holiday cheer to those in need.
In the first Reggie Evans Foundation Turkey Giveaway, over 300 delicious meals were given out in forty-five minutes.
“I just want to be hands on. I want everybody to see me and have these little kids see me, right by my old neighborhood,” Evans said.
Nets win or loss, one thing is for sure: Pensacola is thankful for Reggie Evans.
