Paul Pierce doesn’t seem to be sweating free agency too much. While the Nets and Los Angeles Clippers fight over Pierce’s services — either show me the money or show me Doc Rivers — Pierce is in Las Vegas playing at the World Series of Poker:

Seems like Pierce had a pretty good day: he later said he won $60,000 in chips on day one.

It’s worth noting that he didn’t actually win $60,000 — he won $60,000 in chips at the tournament. But if Pierce has enough good days, maybe he’ll be able to come down from his asking price of $9-10 million.
