The Brooklyn Nets have voided Hamady N’Diaye’s contract with the team after N’Diaye failed the required physical, the team announced today.
N’Diaye was signed to a training camp contract on Wednesday, September 17th, shortly after the team signed fellow center Jerome Jordan to a similar deal. The injury was an elbow injury that needs 2-4 weeks of rest, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
The Nets training camp roster reverts back to sixteen players — 13 guaranteed contracts, plus guard Jorge Gutierrez, forward Cory Jefferson, and Jordan. Per NBA rules, they can invite up to 20 players to training camp.
