#TokoFreed… To the D-League. The Brooklyn Nets have assigned rookies Tyshawn Taylor and Tornike Shengelia to their D-League affiliate Springfield Armor, the team announced today.
The team has sent Taylor & Shengelia down once before for a one-game stint. Taylor notched 32 points and Shengelia a triple-double in that game.
The rookies, both drafted in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft, will be in uniform for Thursday’s Armor game against the Red Claws, meaning they’ll be off the roster for Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
