He’s not on the team’s official injury report, and Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams confirmed to reporters this morning again that he’s playing tonight against the Charlotte Bobcats, after missing the past two games with an ankle injury he sustained Friday against the Phoenix Suns.
Center Brook Lopez (ankle) and forward Andrei Kirilenko (back) have both been ruled out, which was expected following Tuesday’s practice. Neither practiced with the team. Kirilenko said he was “three to four days” away, and treating the injury with more caution than his past ailments. Lopez says he has no idea when he’ll be back: “That’s up to (trainer) Timmy (Walsh).”
Shooting guard Jason Terry is a game-time decision, but told Rod Boone of Newsday this morning that his bone bruise won’t keep him out tonight.
