The above tweet, courtesy of The Brooklyn Game graphics contributor Mike King, is a t-shirt that some Nets fans will wear tomorrow night in (dis)honor of Jason Kidd, who returns to Barclays Center for the first time since seeking more power in the organization and then leaving the team as head coach.
The shirt says “KIDD’S A TRAITOR” on one side, with a photo of Kidd’s face and a red stamp over it that says “TRAITOR” on the other. The shirts were designed by King & Zac Cullen, and purchased by fans online.
It’s clear Kidd has left a bad taste in Nets fans’ mouths, and chances are this isn’t the only anti-Kidd sentiment we’ll see and hear Wednesday night.
