Andray Blatche was a late scratch from Brooklyn’s rotation due to an undisclosed illness, the team announced today. Blatche attended the team’s shootaround, but will not play in the team’s final game against the Miami Heat in the regular season.
The Nets have won all three games against the Heat this season, but will try to do so tonight without both Blatche and Kevin Garnett, leaving Mason Plumlee and Jason Collins as the only true center on the team’s roster. That’ll make for some interesting lineups, perhaps with Mirza Teletovic or even Andrei Kirilenko at center.
