The Nets will play the Washington Wizards without Kevin Garnett. Garnett, who played 23 minutes in the team’s 92-88 win over the New York Knicks Friday night, has sat one half of most of the team’s back-to-backs, though it hasn’t been a hard-and-fast rule.
Brook Lopez, who posted a line of 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 blocks in Friday night’s win, will start in Garnett’s place, joining Jarrett Jack, Alan Anderson, Joe Johnson, and Mason Plumlee in the starting lineup. Lopez & Plumlee have struggled to make a positive impact when they share the floor this season.
