Kevin Garnett did not officially practice with the team Tuesday afternoon and is listed as a game-time decision, the team announced today.
Garnett did some light shooting with the team at their Barclays Center practice, but did not participate in any contact drills. He’s missed the last two games fighting back spasms.
“I think there was some improvement,” head coach Jason Kidd said of Garnett. “He was walking around, so we’ll see.”
The Nets are 4-5 when Garnett sits.
Garnett has averaged 6.7 points and 6.7 rebounds in 21 minutes per game in his 49 games this season. His 31.7 defensive rebounding percentage would lead the league if he played enough minutes to qualify.
