Busy day for the new Brooklyn Nets coach. After attending the team’s morning draft workout, Jason Kidd will throw out the first pitch in the night game of today’s New York Yankees doubleheader against the Los Angeles Dodgers at 7:05 P.M. Afterwards, Kidd will be interviewed by Michael Kay during the third inning of the broadcast. After that, he’ll hop on Brooklynnets.com to answer fan questions.
This all came after Kidd helped open a newly refurbished, 40,000-square-foot athletic facility in the East River Landing cooperative at First Avenue and 108th Street for the Dwight School in East Harlem, Manhattan yesterday.
The game is broadcast on YES Network, our exclusive web partner and company that somehow is okay with the fact that I’m a Mets fan.
The team says to tweet at them with the hashtag #AskJKidd to ask Kidd a question:
After Coach Kidd’s 1st pitch he will go one-on-one w/ http://t.co/NUawrYUlPZ & answer fan questions! Send us your questions with #AskJKidd.

As always, we hope Jason Kidd’s pitching face is anywhere near as entertaining as Brook Lopez‘s.
