Mason Plumlee may be Brooklyn’s most athletic player; he’s seven feet tall with a 36″ vertical, which allows him to get to the rim and finish with touch as easily as anyone healthy on the roster. It also makes him arguably their best highlight when rising off the ground (except for possibly Shaun Livingston), which leads to this.
With the Nets mounting a comeback against the Toronto Raptors, Plumlee times an offensive rebound perfectly off a Deron Williams miss and throws it down with two hands, emphatically yelling and drawing the crowd into the game.
Or, as YES Network’s Chris Shearn so eloquently said:
@BKGlueGuys @TheBKGame Take it one step further – it was Professor Plum – with the hammer – in the paint – #CLUESOLVED
