Mirza Teletovic’s road to the NBA was long and tenuous, but the sophomore power forward has already made a name for himself as a premier 3-point shooter. Teletovic receives his fair share of compliments for his shooting ability, but not much acknowledgement for his defensive development.
Mirza showed off his defensive prowess against the Miami Heat by emphatically blocking Michael Beasley’s dunk attempt. And he was only just getting started: Teletovic picked up three quick blocks in the first half, and hit double-digits in scoring on the road for the first time all season. Mirza get it done on both ends of the court, y’all!
