This game looked over after the first 8 minutes of the 1st quarter. The Warriors were hitting all kinds of shots and quickly took a double digit lead. The Nets were down 16 at a point, but that didn’t stop them from rallying back. The Nets got contributions from Andray Blatche (10 points), Joe Johnson (12 points), and Paul Pierce (11 points) and scored 37 points in the 2nd quarter. Andrei Kirilenko was potent on offense and defense, especially on Warriors guard Stephen Curry.
The gem, however, was from Mirza Teletovic. MT3 pulled down 4 boards and scored 6 points on 2/3 shooting, including this buzzer-beating 3 from about 35 feet out.
While the Bosian may have questioned his role on the Nets in the past, he should have no problem figuring out what it is now: hit three-pointers.
