HIGHLIGHT: Deron Williams continues steals streak, Mason Plumlee slams it home

Deron Williams isn’t known for his defense, and steals are an incomplete barometer for measuring defensive efficiency. But he’s been a cog in the team’s turnover-inducing lineup, and it only took him a few minutes to extend his streak of games recording at least one steal to 17. It’s the longest streak in Nets franchise history since his coach, Jason Kidd, put together a 21-game streak in his Nets career, and the fourth-longest streak of any player this season.

Williams picked off this pass with 9:16 left in the first quarter, a play that eventually resulted in a Mason Plumlee slam on the other end.
