Jesus, Joe. “JJ”, a.k.a. Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Johnson, scored 22 points in the first quarter vs. the Miami Heat. As you may recall, this is the second-highest point total in a quarter for Johnson this season: he had 29 points and a record-tying eight three-pointers in the third quarter on December 16th vs. the Philadelphia Sixers.
This is also just the first time all season in which Johnson has scored 20+ points in three consecutive games.
As Chris Hooker says:
We all make fun of the "JJ" jersey, but maybe he should just never take it off.
