Via reporters at Barclays Center, shortly before Sunday night’s tipoff between the Brooklyn Nets & Kevin Durant’s Oklahoma City Thunder:
Kevin Durant said the Nets have a lot of talent. Also, he knows who Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is. Said NYC is the mecca of basketball.

Kevin Durant on the Nets: "When you have two huge injuries to your team, guys who are starting, of course that's going to mess you up."

(Durant, of course, is referring to Hollis-Jefferson and Jarrett Jack.)
Durant on NY: "Its always fun, the mecca of basketball…To play here in front of these fans here who enjoy the game of basketball…" #Nets

Durant was asked about the state of the #Nets and answered in-depth. Guy is very knowledgable about the league.

Durant, of course, is a free agent this summer, when almost every team in the league will have the cap room to sign him, including the Nets. This, during Winter Storm Jonas, is Durant’s lone trip to New York City this year for basketball — he’ll take on the Knicks on Tuesday.
(The Nets have very little to offer Durant that other teams don’t have more of.)
