The Nets actually played great defense on this possession: they stifled a side pick-and-roll, switched on the perimeter, and Plumlee recovered all the way across the court to contest this Curry three-pointer. It was a remarkable effort. It’s a shame that Plumlee took this moment to attempt a gravity-defying liftoff, because it did not result in him blocking Curry’s shot, nor did it result in the miracle of unaided human air travel.
