The Brook Lopez of old looks like he made a surprise appearance in the third quarter of Nets-Wizards, with no shot more surprising than this twisting fadeaway jumper out of nothing over Nene that took a long time to develop and somehow went in against all odds.
It was, dare I say, a Blatcheian knockdown from Lopez, who’s in the midst of his best game in some time, right around the time the Nets nearly traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Maybe they should enter him in trade rumors before every game.
