Some Nets news & notes from around the web:
- Jason Kidd on Deron Williams’ struggles: “I think it’s just a matter of getting comfortable making shots. Also, he has new teammates. He’s got to get used to a new crew. It’s always a growing period. He’s a grownup. He’ll figure it out.”
- Story about Atlantic Yards modular housing, trying to figure out a way this analogy could get any weirder. (Thinks.) … Nope.
- Barclays Center will host a community holiday party tomorrow (Saturday) from 11:30 A.M.-1:30 P.M. for 100 children, ages 13 and under, from Brooklyn Tabernacle, Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation, and Put the Guns Down Foundation. The party will be held in the 40-40 Club at Barclays.
- The Brooklyn Nets visited the Bed-Stuy YMCA (my local Y, incidentally!) for the Brooklyn Fit program. Check out pictures & video here.
