Looks like Deron Williams is a big Game of Thrones fan. Williams & wife Amy dressed up as Khal Drogo and Khaleesi, per Amy’s Instagram account. Williams hosted the Halloween party Thursday night, and many of his teammates attended. “I had to come up with something with a beard, man,” Williams said. “It’s hard to come up with good costumes with a beard. So, I’m a big Game of Thrones fan, so I thought it was a good little idea.”

Some context, via The Brooklyn Game contributor Ryan Carbain: “Williams is dressed as Khal Drogo leader of the Dothraki clan, a race of nomadic-horse tribesmen noted for their fierceness in battle. Drogo, like nearly half the characters in Game of Thrones, would die in-season of complications from a wound suffered in a duel with a fellow tribesman over his wife’s (the Khaleesi/Amy Williams’) honor.”

Williams didn’t say he had the best costume. “The Pulp Fiction one was good,” Williams said, citing two of his friends that did a Pulp Fiction costume. “Brook was one big-ass Power Ranger.”

Here’s Brook as the “big-ass Power Ranger,” and Mason Plumlee was Homer Simpson, per a tweet from fan @EugeneBKN:

As you might expect, Lopez spent most of the night playing video games. “He didn’t really move from my arcade much,” Williams said. “I got an arcade machine that has, like, every game you could think of. He didn’t move from that.”

And rookie Cory Jefferson, perhaps trying to bury the struggles of being the rookie, went as Superman.
