Brooklyn Nets guard Deron Williams talked his sneaker choices both on and off the court in an interview with Nick Metallinos for Keez on Sports.
Along with some discussion of Williams’s preferences (he likes retro sneakers for casual wear, and prefers low-tops to high-tops on the court), Metallinos broke a bit of D-Will-related sneaker news to Williams himself: Near the end of the interview, he told Williams that he’d seen the playoff shoes that Williams was set to wear, something Williams hadn’t heard about. “Low-tops or high-tops?” Williams asked.
When he was told they were high-tops, he shrugged and looked away. “We’ll see.”
