Brooklyn Nets guard Deron Williams has been upgraded from “doubtful” to available for the team’s Wednesday night contest against the Boston Celtics, according to the team.
Williams was listed as “probable” Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks, but sat out after injuring his left side on two separate occasions Sunday in the fourth quarter against the Miami Heat.
It’s not clear whether or not Williams, who has come off the bench for six straight games following a low-grade calf strain, will return to the starting lineup over Jarrett Jack. The Nets have lost two straight games following a stretch of six wins in seven games.
