Damion James has not been extended a second ten-day contract by the Brooklyn Nets and will return to the D-League Bakersfield Jam, per a NetsDaily D-League source.
James barely saw the floor in his time with Brooklyn, playing less than 30 seconds over two games, most notably the final six seconds against the New York Knicks Monday night, when he contested J.R. Smith’s final desperation heave that could have tied the game as time expired.
With James heading back to the D-League, the Nets again have one open roster spot.
This here is only for the moment! A week or two at the most!
