During practice yesterday, Avery Johnson talked some more about his rotation and said he plans on keeping things as they are, with Stephen Graham starting, and Anthony Morrow coming off the bench:
“I just like him giving me something off the bench right now,” he said. “We’re in a pretty good rhythm. We’re 3-1 in our homestand with the rotation exactly the way it is. Sometimes you can over-coach and screw things up.”
Well, I guess it’s not a big deal for a few more games, but I hope Avery comes to the conclusion that nearly everyone with two eyes has already come to: Stephan Graham is hardly an NBA rotational player at this point in his career, and if he continues to get more minutes than Morrow, it hurts the team on both the offensive and defensive end.
