With the Nets resting Brook Lopez and Thaddeus Young, Nets rookie Chris McCullough will make his first career start against the Charlotte Hornets Friday night.
McCullough, the team’s 29th overall pick in the 2015 draft, has played in 20 career games after returning from ACL surgery during his freshman year at Syracuse, posting averages of 3.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 14 minutes per game.
McCullough will start alongside Shane Larkin, Wayne Ellington, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Thomas Robinson. Robinson has posted double-doubles in five consecutive games.
