Nets 101, Raptors 97
Monday March 10, 2014: In the January 27th game, Pierce scored 33 points but couldn’t score when it counted most at the end of the game. This contest looked like it was headed down a similar road: Pierce battled foul trouble and a sore shoulder, only scoring five points through the first three quarters.
But he turned it on in the fourth, scoring 10 points, including a bonkers three with 1:14 left to put the Nets up 97-94. Shaun Livingston and Deron Williams each added 18 points for the Nets, and Jason Collins did what Jason Collins do, logging three fouls in four minutes of play. Kyle Lowry lead the Raptors with a Jason Kidd-like 21 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the loss, which split the season series at two apiece.
