5) Mirza Teletovic, Unshakable.
Some of the Nets’ best moments this season came against the Miami Heat — you’ll see one more in the coming four videos — but this was as shocking as it gets. After LeBron James swung his arm into Andrei Kirilenko in transition, Teletovic wrapped him up to prevent a shot, sending James over the edge.
Teletovic tried to explain it off at first, and after a few seconds, did something you’d never expect: he laughed. He smiled right in James’s angry face.
That’s the best thing you can do when someone’s mad at you. You laugh. You shake it off. Mirza Teletovic cared not for LeBron James’s histrionics, and at that moment accolades and talent didn’t matter. Teletovic won the battle and James looked more and more helpless with each passing second.
Like all four Nets-Heat regular season games, the Nets won, and actually got a shaken James to foul out in the first of two overtimes.
