After the Brooklyn Nets suffered an embarrassing 107-86 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night, a somber Brook Lopez could hardly look reporters in the eye in his postgame press conference, as the YES Network video shows.
Lopez blames the loss not on a lack of talent, or egos, but team energy. “I really think it’s a lack of energy,” he said latter adding “I think it’s just a matter of us playing with energy for the duration of an entire game.” Lopez then looked away.
The Nets have Thursday off before traveling to Phoenix to take on the Phoenix Suns Friday night at 9:00 P.M. EST.
